Community Outreach Program (COP+) at Universitas Pekalongan was definitely an enriching one and went far beyond my expectations. During my 14 weeks there, I got the opportunity to serve in the Kuliah Kerja Nyata (community service), interned as an English tutor at a local vocational high school, attended a short Batik course at UNIKAL, and did various cultural activities, as well as travelling! I have met many people along the journey, gained meaningful experience, and I believe this program has helped me grow as a better person and as useful member of society. The lecturers were also very helpful and supportive, and made sure we felt safe and comfortable throughout. The COP+ at UNIKAL was an amazing experience, and I made the right choice to do my Discovery Year there.
